In 1965, as a part of Košice Ceramic Works, we have started production of expanded perlite.Perlite is a natural insulation material produced by the heat treatment of raw perlite. The raw material is amorphous volcanic glass with high water content.
Because of its light weight, is perlite used as insulation in construction and industry, agricultural soil conditioners, as well as an absorbent for petroleum products leaked in environment.
